I am delighted to unveil the latest addition to my "Lighting as ART" collection. Guided by the motto, "The frame is my canvas, crystals are my paint," this piece exemplifies our dedication to artistry and craftsmanship.

This creation began with a vintage 1950s frame that required restoration. We carefully dismantled, polished, and rewired it, then hand whitewashed and gently rubbed the brass to highlight the porcelain center column, bobeches, and bottom plate. Two delicate hand-painted ceramic bluebirds—one perched atop and the other subtly nestled within the center column—were added to enhance the design.

The chandelier’s "canvas" was then adorned with a curated selection of rare crystals and beads from my extensive collection. Inspired by the frame’s elegant design, I chose soft hues of yellow, blue, and white, complemented by vintage beads to create a harmonious and refined aesthetic.

The process of preparing the frame, designing, hand-curling, and strategically placing each crystal and bead took three weeks to complete. To elevate the chandelier’s allure, I incorporated a special feature: rare Uranium Vaseline Glass crystals. When illuminated with a black UV light in a darkened room, these uranium crystals and beads emit a mesmerizing green glow.

The chandelier boasts exceptional details, including almond-shaped yellow Uranium crystals—ranging from 2 to 3 inches in size—soft opaline blue teardrop crystals, vintage crystal rosettes, and porcelain white roses suspended from antique brass cones entwined with delicate wire vines. Playful vintage beads, some with uranium leaves and orange ladybugs, add a touch of whimsy.

The elegant ivory drip candle covers are adorned with rare, fluted custard-colored Uranium Vaseline Glass bobeches, adding a breathtaking finishing touch. Despite its abundance of crystals, the chandelier maintains a light and airy feel, a testament to years of me mastering this delicate balance.

Standing 30 inches high and 25 inches wide, this chandelier features six candelabra-based lights (up to 60 watts each, LED bulbs recommended; not included). This unique, one-of-a-kind art piece, with its rarest crystals, has been meticulously restored and rewired. It is ready to be proudly displayed as a timeless heirloom to be cherished for generations.

The whitewashed brass frame does NOT glow purple with the UV light, it remains white.
The frame in photos and video show a purple brass frame, but that is only a reflection of the strong UV light shining against it .
